Q & A’s for Agenda Culturel

Thursday, November 19, 2009 by maya zankoul

I was delighted to be the first artist chosen by Agenda Culturel to introduce their new section: illustrated Q & A’s. Here are the four questions and how I answered them. Go get the latest issue of L’Agenda Culturel for more :)

It’s in French, and because I love you a lot, I’ve translated them for you :P

Q1. Que vous apportent les réactions des lecteurs de votre blog?

(Q. What do the reactions of your blog readers bring you?

A. “Haha! Let’s see what my darlings have to say about what I posted last night” They’re my daily bread. Their reactions encourage me, make me laugh & think. My readers are my darlings!)

So on November 16, 2009 I will participate to the 1st Creative Commons Salon in the Arab World, in Jordan, Amman. Many artists, bloggers and entrepreneurs will be presenting their work and sharing their CC experience. For more details click here. I should be back on Wed. Until then, I’m going to miss you!!!!!!! :)

Here’s a summary of the event (that I took from here):

On the 16th Creative Commons will celebrate the first ever CC Arab Salon. Event is due to kick off at 6pm @Al Balad Theatre in Downtown Amman.

The Salon will feature media organisations, artists, bloggers and creative people from the Arab world who have used CC licenses and would like to share the results of opening up their work.

The Amman Salon is going to be a major step going towards fostering the creation of original Arabic content and encouraging the people to share it with the entire world.  To this extent, the enthusiastic support of the Royal Film Commissionwho is co-organising the event under the Royal Patronage of Prince Ali bin al Hussein has been extremely key and encouraging.
